School Support Drive for Coventry Grammar School

  • Storrs Community Church 90 Tolland Turnpike Coventry, CT, 06238 United States (map)

We are excited to partner with Coventry Grammar School again this year to help create a fun, supportive, and welcoming learning environment for all students, teachers, and staff.

In the past, our support drive has included collecting school supplies for students and treats for staff. This year, the Board of Education is providing school supplies for all CGS students, ensuring that every child has equal access to high-quality materials.

With that in mind, we are continuing our partnership with the CGS PTO by focusing our efforts on supporting the teachers and staff who give so much to our children, and who often purchase classroom and staff room necessities with their own funds.

This year, we are collecting the following items:

  • PBIS* Amazon Wishlist items

  • $5 gift cards to kid-friendly places (DQ, Dunkin, Crumbl Cookie, McDonalds, etc.)

  • Recess Equipment** Amazon Wishlist items

  • Individually packaged snacks for students

  • Paper plates

  • Plastic cutlery

  • Napkins

  • Hand sanitizer

  • Lysol disinfectant wipes

  • K-Cups (coffee, tea, hot chocolate)

  • Sugar packets for coffee for the staff lounge

  • Individually wrapped chocolates and sweet treats for staff

Every donation, big or small, helps us show our CGS teachers and staff how much our community appreciates all that they do.

Donations can be dropped off at SCC in the lobby or shipped directly to the church.

Thank you in advance for blessing our community this way!

 * “Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) encourages students to make positive choices by recognizing and rewarding kindness, responsibility, respect, and other great behaviors throughout the school day. These small rewards make a big impact and help keep our students motivated and excited to do their best!” – CGS PTO Facebook page

** “Adding new equipment to make recess even more fun, active, and engaging for our CGS students!” – CGS PTO Facebook page
