SCC Community Groups

Community Groups are intentional gatherings who meet regularly to encourage and support each other’s spiritual journeys.

These small gatherings provide an environment where you can experience authentic community, where both burdens and resources can be shared and Gospel values are lived out. These are groups of families, students, retirees or cross-generational gatherings. Some meet for a potluck meal, over Zoom or in our church building. Groups meet weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. The structure and timing is entirely a matter of choice. If you would like help connecting, please reach out to the church office.

  • Persistent Prayer Group

Date & Location: Meeting times vary, meets at SCC

    Contact: officestorrschurch@gmail.com

In these deeply uncertain and divisive times, we invite you to come together in prayer, seeking God's justice, mercy, and wisdom as we respond to the challenges around us.

Inspired by the parable of the Persistent Widow in Luke 18, this group will meet monthly for one hour of focused prayer, rooted in Scripture and the example of Christ. Together, we seek to be light in the darkness, trusting in God, our rock, strength, and hope. All are welcome—come as you are and join us in lifting our nation and church in persistent prayer.
